Hatfield Squat

The Hatfield Squat is an assistance squat exercise performed with a Safety Squat Bar (SSB), a barbell, and a rack.

You'll set up with your SSB on your shoulders. The extra barbell or other anchoring tool, such as pins, will be placed such that you can grip it for support.

NOTE: Do NOT place the barbell on the same side of the rack as your SSB— this will not support your weight and can cause the barbell to come off the rack.
